Confidentiality Policy

Our work involves communicating with landowners and their advisors about preserving their lands, and we obtain certain financial, tax, and personal information from landowners as well as tax credit purchasers in the course of facilitating the transfer of land preservation tax credits. Conservation Partners, LLC will keep confidential all information about potential land transactions and all financial, tax, and personal information obtained from landowners and credit purchasers, except as required by law or legal process.

Please note that certain documents such as appraisal reports and personal information such as names, addresses, and taxpayer identification numbers must be included in filings with the Virginia Department of Taxation to register or transfer credits.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the confidential information provided to us.
