Conservation Partners was proud to host our first Farm Day Festival on August 25th at the Project GROWS farm in Verona. The festival was a free event open to the public of the surrounding communities of the Shenandoah Valley and promoted the important work and mission of Project GROWS and Conservation Partners. You can find out more about Project GROWS and their significant impact in the Valley here.
It was a beautiful day with perfect weather full of good old fashioned fun. With live music, local wine, and plenty of activities for kids, the festival attracted families all around the surrounding counties. A special thank you to The Boatmen for providing their musical talents, Barren Ridge Vineyards who poured their delicious selection of wines, and the Weyers Cave Fire Department for selling food to fund their station renovation.
We would also like to thank our wonderful sponsors who made the event a possibility, particularly, our event partners- Stuart Hall School, Altenergy, and First Bank & Trust.
Other sponsors include:
Myers & Woods Appraisal Group; BotkinRose PLC; Augusta County 4H; Cornerstone Bank; Farm Credit; Rockingham Cooperative; James River Equipment; Pufferbellies.
